del.icio.us is a social bookmark manager. Or a glimpse into the hearts and minds of Internet users. Or, simply, a humungous URL list. You be the judge, I just use it to store URLs for later.
Resources
- Delicious Safari, a commercial Safari plugin that is almost (but not quite) as good as the official Firefox plugin.
- Scuttle , a PHP clone with extensive del.icio.us API support.
- del.icio.us dire.ctor , an Ajax overlay.
Notes
Since Yahoo is tanking and they’ve never really done anything with del.icio.us, I keep around this quick and dirty way to back up your entire URL collection with wget (first spotted here, which also includes some iCal and AppleScript voodoo, updated):
wget --http-user=delicious-user --http-passwd=delicious-pass -O backup.xml \
