The iMac Goes Cubic?

MacRumours raises an interesting possibility about the new iMacs (due sometime in 2004). A G5-based computer in a cube format would be just dandy for me (I used a NeXTCube for nigh on a year, and the form factor kind of grows on you). Especially if it comes in the same brushed aluminum the G5 uses and if I could hook up a 23" Cinema Display to it (the only thing missing on my 15" iMac is elbow room...)

At long last, the USPTO apparently agreed to check prior art that would invalidate the idiotic Eolas patent (via TechDirt, previous coverage here: 1, 2, 3, 4)
