This is going to be the first Christmas with the kid and in our renovated dining/living room, so, naturally, lots of family is coming over for dinner (not as many as I’d wish to, but that’s entirely another matter).
This year, besides polishing my usual HOWTO on switching to the Mac (which has been growing steadily over the past few years), I have also cleaned up my Switcher’s Applications Guide a bit – you’ll find both linked from the site’s sidebar from now on, just in time for those of you who decided to get a Mac during the holiday season.
I’ve been told time and again that I ought to do a similar thing for the iPhone, but time isn’t on my side. Still, if you did get an iPhone or iPod Touch this year, welcome to the Apple world – I hope to have a lot more for you over the course of next year.
This year I’ve got to attend to our personal logistics, which imply rather more than stuffing a turkey and roasting it (it seems as if we’re preparing to outfit an aircraft carrier or something)…
So, without further ado, I wish all my readership, regardless of belief, a great holiday season!
