Apple Vision Pro - magic, until it’s not ➹

I strongly recommend the video–Nilay knocked it out of the park in this one.

Pretty much all reviews I’ve read and watched so far are unanimous in pegging this as a 1.0 product and panning some aspects of it (like personas for video calling, and the isolation/egotism inhenrent in using it in family settings).

And they all laud the technical aspects, but very few ask the real question–what is it good for other than entertainment?

I’ll wait for 2.0, if it ever comes, and see if there are any killer apps by then. For now my Quest 2 will stay in regular use, with the side benefit (ha) that it allows me to explore homebrew apps at will.
