The only thing I really care about is whether or not I, as an independent developer, will be able to at least run my own apps on the devices I paid for without having to pay Apple for the privilege, and that still isn’t clear from this.
In particular, the requirement for notarization is still there, and that means that I still have to pay $99/year for a developer account to be able to run my own code on my own devices without resetting the apps every week–something I have been able to do on Android since the very beginning.
But I’m glad they finally did away with the idiotic rules on cloud gaming, because it worked extremely well on my devices and was one of the main reasons why the NVIDIA Shield replaced my Apple TV as my primary streaming device.
