I would very much like to see xCloud/Xbox Game Pass as a native app on my iOS devices (including my Apple TV), and I hope Apple comes to their senses before they’re pressured to do it.
On the other hand, I find these kinds of findings by various commissions to lack enough bite to either drive companies to their senses or spur politicians to action, so I’m not really holding my breath–but after almost two years watching this come to pass, it is particularly stupid that a video streaming app (of any kind, even if it’s effectively joined at the hip with a Remote Desktop client) is subject to this sort of pointless gatekeeping that only harms users.
