I’m not enamored with the form factor (it’s way bigger than the ESP32s I have been using), but am quite excited by the possibilities since I already have a few tiny RP2040 boards and can see third parties doing new twists on those with a Wi-Fi (and Bluetooth) chip.
Really great news for tinkerers overall.
