Chalk me up as another satisfied customer. Like Daniel, I’d rather have my fingernails pulled out with burning thongs than install HP’s absurdly incompetent and bloated software, so I have been using native OS drivers for a while to print via an AirPort Extreme. I scan stuff only about once a year (by dint of walking up to the printer and plugging it via USB into a Windows VM - which does scanning with zero extra configuration or software), but this week I needed to scan and compile as PDF some government paperwork on my Mac and the software just worked (I did muck about with the SANE stuff first, but it suffers from the usual lack of cohesion and required too much junk and twiddling).
