This must be a Tuesday. I never could get the hang of Apple’s Tuesdays (with apologies to DA. Looks impressive, let’s see how it runs on last year’s hardware.
Update: I think I’m going to skip this one on my main machine - I have a thing about betas overwriting perfectly good software, and I remember that some folk who ran the Safari 3 Beta had trouble later on upgrading to the final version…
Update 2: It seems it was a bad idea to install this on my aging iMac “G5”, since after restarting it got stuck for a good while, eventually forcing me to go into single user mode to find a series of “data underrun” messages emanating from the hard disk. I can’t obviously pin this onto Safari, but it’s bad luck nonetheless. Fortunately, the “G5” is seldom used - but it will take me a good while to get it back into shape.
