Before I go out and enjoy the sunshine (and get my mind off work), here's a few things of note:
- If you need more evidence that Apple is essentially a US-centric operation, look no further. Via pfig, via IM, who also sent me a link to Vroom Vroom.
- Something to watch over the weekend: Elephants Dream (background info and teaser)
- Google Reader now has mobile phone support. I find it underwhelming, since they not only have failed to address the most basic stepping stone of all (authentication requires you to fill out a form and therefore does not use your phone's password cache) but they also haven't got HTML entity and UTF-8 handling right.
- Came across Amua (via blech, via del.icio.us), which is a very nice and unobtrusive alternative to the fugly Last.fm player.
- I've been using Subversion mostly via TextMate, but other people might like ZigVersion, which I spotted this morning (via Gruber).
