Selling Macs in Portugal... Using Windows

Via a colleague of mine, I just received word that one of the premier resellers here in is hosting a moving venue (a day in the north of the country and another further south) during which people are invited to come over and try out five new Intel s... running Windows.

The pitch goes something like this (translating for the benefit of my usual readership) -

Come and visit us to experience the power of the new models natively running Windows Home, Windows Professional and Windows 2003 Server.

Here's their traveling circus with typos fixed - the original mail had more than a couple, not the least being that they persist in mis-capitalizing the model names:

I guess it's a strategy - but one that is quite beyond the I saw a few days ago.

The thing that amazes me is that they went and e-mailed people telling them to come and behold a running 2003 Server.

I live in a sad, sad country.
