Dear Auntie Lazyweb,
Since Mobile GMaps is going to be GPS-enabled soon, I am now considering looking at GPS devices again but would like your help to find one that fulfills the following criteria:
- Bluetooth enabled (to use with a mobile phone)
- Decent battery life
- It absolutely, utterly must have a mini-USB port for charging off my laptop (i.e., no bothersome extra power adapters)
I'm flexible on the rest (i.e., amazing precision isn't a big deal if the thing is the size of a lighter, etc., etc.), but those three are the ones I care about the most.
Your Loving Nephew,
Rui.
Update: The consensus seems to be that the Holux GPSlim 236 (of which Josh Marshall pointed out this review) is the closest thing to what I'm looking for. Thanks for all your comments and e-mails.
