Rui CarmoVia Filipe Carvalho, newsmap is one of the best uses of Treemaps I've come across in a long while. It uses Flash and Google to give you to (and I quote) "divide information into quickly recognizable bands which, when presented together, reveal underlying patterns in news reporting across cultures and within news segments in constant change around the globe."
