Rui CarmoFlip4Mac is a QuickTime plugin that lets you view WMV and ASF content. It’s a third-party replacement for Microsoft’s (rather worse) Windows Media Player, and can be upgraded to perform format conversion (if you really have to).
Caveats
- Fixing the Installer - for unattended installs. A very nice example of how Mac OS X installers need a better security model.
