Amethyst ➹

Amethyst is an xmonad-like tiling window manager for macOS that works remarkably well considering the way the Mac windowing system operates. It relies on Accessibility controls, and only has a few shortcomings:

• Cannot typeahead search and switch to windows, tabs (or spaces containing same) based on app/window/tab titles
• Does not support trackpad gestures
• Does not have a nice, easy to view hotkey reference overlay
• Gets hopelessly confused with Stage Manager in Ventura
