A few Linux distros I deal with:
- Red Hat - The Gnome-oriented distro for corporate types. Good organization, excellent server hardware support, reliable out of the box. Now forked into Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise.
- Debian - For Bleeding Edge fans. Some assembly required for most simple tasks.
- Slackware - The one we all started out with.
- Gentoo - Source ports based. Takes ages to get a working system running.
- tomsrtbt - Tom's Root Boot Mini-Distro
