After a few months with partially broken social previews, I think I’ve narrowed down and fixed why OpenGraph metadata wasn’t being correctly generated in the new static HTML renderer.
This means the new back-end is now finally feature complete and that I can get started on redesigning the site layout and CSS (making it ligther, hopefully easier to read and even faster to load). Another concern I have is ease of archival, so image lazy-loading is also likely to go away.
Work on that will start over the holiday break (and maybe even go live by then, depending on time).
Then all I need to do is convert 5000+ Textile entries to Markdown, and I can start simplifying the static renderer…
