No Apple Intelligence yet, and in the short time I’ve had since installing it I’ve already come up against a couple of bugs and inconsistent behavior in Mail, and pretty much zero visible improvement other than in Safari.
Mind you, iOS 18.0 is much worse, a couple of my critical shortcuts have broken already (including the ones I use to post these link entries, which I’ve had to refactor yet again), and I’m quite annoyed at Apple right now…
But hey, we get native window tiling! It is not anywhere as complete or polished as Moom 4, but at least it’s there, and both basic snapping and resizing tile boundaries works well enough for me to survive on a laptop.
Regardless, this release draws a very stiff line in the sand where it regards Apple Silicon vs. Intel feature support. Oh, and it’s somewhat amusing to see OpenCore Legacy Patcher mentioned as a possible upgrade path for older machines…
