This is very interesting news. I’d be all for someone reviving the NeXT as a hobbyist platform, maybe atop those RK3588 ARM chips (even with Motorola 680x0 emulation, it would be a pretty amazing thing to see).
(Also, unfortunately NEXTSPACE is still stalled due to the war in Ukraine, otherwise I’d have stuck with it as a default Linux desktop… But it’s on my list of “fun projects for retirement”)
