Everyone expected laptops, and the DTK was a sort of mini, but seeing a new model of what is my all-time favorite desktop machine always brings a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Now all I “need” to do is decide between upgrading from my i5 iMac (and getting a decent monitor to go with it), or waiting for an iMac refresh (which seems more likely).
Update: Anandtech has a nice piece on the M1. I can’t wait until we start getting user benchmarks.
