I think this sort of thing is telling. Besides my own recent experience, there is an unwavering trend of disrepair and QA issues that Apple is simply not keeping tabs on, period.
Aiming for a premium experience is only a worthwhile goal when your shit holds together, and it just isn’t happening. There’s no sense of things being relentlessly improved anymore, and the overall experience is of constantly finding old cracks that are just being wallpapered over.
