I’ve been keeping tabs on Elementary for a while, and now that it’s caught up with Ubuntu LTS I will be trying it out on my Chromebook instead of LXDE.
I know that the email client has a few quirks (including the utter lack of contact management) and the calendar app is unusable for me because it apparently can’t sync with anything, but the overall experience in earlier versions was nice and uncluttered, and it makes a for a nice development environment – I just need to add Visual Studio Code and a few doodads.
