I agree with pretty much everything here, except the bit about their not being interested in phones. The new Nexus 7 is a pretty solid refresh (heck, it’s good enough to make me wonder if I really want an iPad mini), but it’s still easier to integrate and ship than a mobile phone, and I’m betting that Google is still re-grouping following the messy Nexus 4 launch.
