GIMP Is Now Available as a Native App for Mac OS X ➹

Hell just froze over.

It’s running atop a native GTK-Quartz port (bundled in, as is TrueType, a Python interpreter and a bunch of other dependencies).

Of course, just because the GIMP now runs natively doesn’t mean it’s actually useful - the UI is still the same horrid, counter-intuitive mess, and this version appears to only work properly under admin accounts — so don’t bother.
