Yeah, I know everybody is going to be drooling over the new Retina display on the MacBook Pro, but to me the Air’s 8GB RAM upgrade is a lot more important in the short term.
After all, the new 15" Pro is not something that many people can justify, afford or actually take advantage of as a laptop, whereas the CPU upgrades and 8GB of RAM turn the 11" MacBook Air into a completely new machine you can take anywhere (even though 256GB of SSD is still a bit pricey).
