Oh, for crying out loud. I thought we’d seen the end of this years ago, but apparently the patent system still holds less water than a colander. Someone ought to hire better patent reviewers and periodically revise/deprecate older patents to match technological evolution - it’s not as if progress is still at the same leisurely pace as when Edison and Tesla were tossing sparks at each other.
