Pedro Telles points out that the local Apple representative is shipping the new iMacs without the new keyboards (something that people in the local Mac mailing-lists have been fuming about for days now), and explains how to get one overnight - via the Spanish store, of all places (and, alas, with a Spanish keyboard - which might be acceptable to some people, but never by the general public).
Hey Apple, care to help here? Sure, there are probably manufacturing and stock issues to iron out, but it’s odd to think that people are buying a brand new iMac and getting an officially obsoleted keyboard. That’s not the user experience people ought to be having.
Oh, and it seems that the Portuguese Apple Store was down (again) for days, too… Some people mention it being down from Sunday (or Monday) to at least Thursday.
