Rui CarmoCodebits ended yesterday, and despite having spent a couple of days there helping out as best I could (I ended up ducking out of a number of things due to other priorities - kudos to David Ramalho for hosting this year’s Presentation Karaoke, by the way), I ended up spending the last day with my kids, tweeting and IMing back and forth, dishing out more cowbell on blog entries and watching the live stream.
I was still kicking myself for not physically being there at the award ceremony and end keynote until I walked into the kids’ bedroom and saw them sitting on the floor, all smiles and giggles, their mom reading them a bedtime story.
Then I knew I was in the right place. Tomorrow they’ll both be going back to school, which is great.
