PrintScreen has launched!
I will have a (lot) more to say about this in a few days, but for now, suffice it to say that if you’re Portuguese and keep to track of tech trends, you want to go there now.
In a nutshell, it puts together some of the best tech (and otherwise) minds in Portugal under a traditional ‘planet’ format – you’ll find people writing about life sciences, marketing, advertising, journalism, media, and, of course, technology, in all senses of the word.
In that last regard, you’ll find some pretty eclectic writing. Not everyone in the tech world thinks alike, and we’ve got quite a few tech folk who actually know how to write instead of just echoing the the latest trendy memes…
In a sense, it is the next step beyond Planeta Asterisco, which congregated 80 bloggers for over two years – and, in the process, put together a hard core of ‘long haul’ bloggers that filled a long-standing void in the Portuguese blogging community – we now have a cohesive group of people who keep close ties to technology and yet manage to spare the time to write quality material.
Hop on over and enjoy the site – there are quite a few things in store for the future, but you can start enjoying it right away.
(I am still going through a major project at work, but will try to squeeze in a bit more about this once I manage to rest and get stuff back on track.)
