Paraphrasing Arthur Dent, I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
NeoOffice 2.1 is out, and seems to deal well with Word 2007 files and other stuff.
I'll be using it to draft documents at home and see just how useful it is. For now, I can confirm the UI looks a bit more Mac-like, but not much (the toolbars are nicer, but Draw and Calc still don't antialias lines and charts, which is a big eyesore these days).
Fedora Core 7 Test 3 is also out, and although I am farthest than I ever was from running Linux on my boxes, it's nice to see it nearing another release, especially since it's supposed to include RandR1.2 (and Fedora usually gets these things right the first time around).
We'll see.
