- They are apparently in league with Apple. Yes, folks, it's the return of the "Return of The Cube" rumors all over again (via Leander). It's probably a cardboard box, but even a blurry picture of a cow can be linked six ways from Sunday if it's sporting an Apple logo...
- I had completely forgotten about the Cmd-Esc selection trigger in Quicksilver. That goes to show you how much of an RSS backlog I have...
- Gruber debunks the hoopla around opening files from unknown sources, and points out some of this could have been averted by simple fixes to Safari a good while back.
- The BBC ran a piece about Vocera's Star Trek-like intercom system, which I've been keeping track of for a good while now and is being resold by BT (they didn't develop it, although I bet they spent a while ironing out accent issues...). It is older than the VoIP hype, and an excellent example of minimalist, human-centric design (just watch the training video to see how it works). Now all they need to do is make it headset-sized...
- Wow, Trackback is trying to get a new lease on life. I'll leave it to other people to demonstrate why it ought to be dead.
