Interesting news that deserve a post of their own instead of all the Apple and Nokia punditry:
- Xara Xtreme, which I used briefly during a cover design stint years ago and regard as the best thing to ever come out of Acorn's RISC OS microniche, is going Open Source (and may be coming to the Mac sometime in the future). Inkscape better watch out...
- MSN and Yahoo, up on a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G. (via João). It only took what, six years? Now let's see how long VoIP providers will take to tie their networks together...
- Adium gets another update (via Gruber, who also posted this link to the inane considerations regarding RSS icons in IE7.).
- dpreview's in-depth piece about the Canon/EOS-1Ds Mark II (one has to have something to aspire to...)
And finally, via BoingBoing, today's moment of Zen. Utterly hilarious.
