Windows in the Nineties

So, yesterday was Windows 95's tenth birthday, or something. Ten years ago, I was already running 3.51 (courtesy of my MSDN subscription), and six months later or so I started beta-testing 4.0 - under which I ran a mailing-list server (based on the EMWAC SMTP daemon) for almost two years (save for occasional reboots to test the ISDN cards we were developing).

Fortunately, I was spared the horror of running 95, 98 or ME on any sort of permanent basis. Wish I could say the same about developing for it, though.
