The X Audio Compression Toolkit is a GUI based front-end (written in AppleScript Studio) for the UNIX applications Shorten (3.5.1), shntool (1.2.3), monkey's audio compressor (3.97) and flac (1.1.0) - besides sox (12.17.4). It's geared towards the automated conversion of MP3, FLAC, APE and AIFF audio.
