Threads Deep Dive ➹

This is a really cool breakdown of the internals of the new Threads mobile app, for both Android and iOS. I am, of course, not currently able to use it because of Meta’s decision to exclude the EU from it (which is unsurprising if you look at the insane amount of personal data it claims to track on the Privacy section of the App Store).

Also, I honestly don’t know why I would join other than FOMO. But even though I feel little inclination to use it, the internals make for fascinating reading, especially if you’ve been in the mobile dev space.
