I’ve been reading about the (apparently new, trendy, but actually ancient) mail tracker controversy, and this plugin seems quite neat (it’s available via brew and all).

But if you are already running Little Snitch, you can get largely the same effect by selectively blocking HTTP connections from Mail.app (which can be a bit of a pain, really, but I’ve already taken the time…).
