Not unexpected, and a likely milestone in Slack’s evolution. And a huge amount of money for “a chat app”.
There are a lot of big companies using Slack right now, but I have to wonder what this will mean for all the “community” Slacks out there in the long run, as I’ve yet to see Salesforce hand out freebies without any qualms–they are quite likely to want to recoup their investment, at the very least…
