Hell keeps freezing over, right? Well, it all makes a lot of sense when you factor in the difficulty of getting serious IoT projects off the ground—fooling around with consumer-grade micro-controllers is not the right way to go about building professional solutions.

Sphere addresses a bunch of the typical issues around securing IoT endpoints, and the Linux angle is just… common sense, really.

I have a few more thoughts on it, but they’ll have to wait a few months.
