Networking is still hooked up via USB 2.0 internally (which is not ideal) and there’s no SATA or USB 3 support, but I like the idea of their “hardening” the electronics to ease product certification and adding PoE to improve the fit for industrial settings—it’s tacit acknowledgment that they’re seeing demand from beyond the hobbyist market.
The one thing I’m miffed about is that I would gladly swap the extra 200MHz for more RAM, but I suppose that will come in time (and is not really necessary for most IoT scenarios).
