I’m with Dan and Jason where it regards the MacBook Pro’s long overdue upgrade and a wish for Touch ID - it’s definitely missing on the Mac. And also agree that gimmicky touch strips are hardly necessary (I used a ThinkPad with something similar).
But I do think that a touchscreen isn’t completely unfeasible on Mac OS X. I’ve become used to using my ThinkPad’s touchscreen to zoom and dismiss windows, and find it natural enough as it is.
