If Pythonista is drummed out of the App Store, then iOS is useless to me as a platform. Not just due to one app (or two if you count Editorial), but because it stifles my particular kind of creativity. It’s not about Python (although we could go on and on about why running an interpreter inside a sandbox ought to be enough, and why “downloading code” is something too vague to even be a valid restriction, be it directly executable or not), but because it severely limits the usefulness of a computing device for productivity tasks.
