Why mobile web apps are slow ➹

“We’re now at Peak JavaScript.  It doesn’t get much faster from here.” Wonderful romp through all the tech involved, although I think there’s some leeway still. After all, there’s nothing wrong with doing a mobile web app if your interaction model is simple, or if your business revolves around a catalog - to name only two situations where building and maintaining a native app would probably be too much overhead.
