Here’s one of my backup plans for RSS - ironically, I’m using a Gmail account to test it, but it works with any IMAP server, and is very usable on all my mobile devices besides.
A side note: I’ve known about rss2email for a long time - by then I
was contributing to newspipe and swapped a few e-mails with Aaron
Swartz regarding html2text. It felt really weird to grab the latest
revision from his repo, and even more so while tweaking the code…
