Seriously, the first time one of these pops up on my Mac I’m pulling the plug on the whole thing, including Skype Credit.
Update: I’ll be blissfully free of these on my “business” account, since they won’t appear to people with Skype Credit, but, still, folks who want to get rid of the ads and do free voice calls need to pay a minimum of €11.50 on their pay-as-you-go plan.
The clever approach here would have been to charge €2 or so to switch off adds and support the service and make it a lot easier to “upsell” other services.
