This is pretty much what it’s like for me these days at home. I’m using tmux and Textastic+Dropbox for the occasional stint of local editing, plus iTeleport’s VNC to access a full XFCE desktop (and Chrome) on my Linode, but the overall experience is mostly the same - everything’s there for me just as I left it, wherever I log in from.
