Brilliant. Considering that The Daily’s app is what I cannot help but call a usability turd, this at least gives you a decent way to skim the headlines before jumping over to the (bitmap-based) articles. And yes, I too think The Daily a failure - they ought to have done the whole thing as EPUB or proper HTML.
