How to publish an Apple iBook ➹

A US-centric guide, but then again that’s what you have to deal with for now (I am unaware of Apple allowing for EU residents to submit books at this point - back when iBooks was launched and I checked, the rules weren’t clear or easy to find). Any further pointers or corrections are welcome.
