I had two immediate reactions to this: the first was “yeah, right…” and the second was to think that issuing a press release a year before launch was never a good omen for any product. Michael Mace has a slightly deeper take, and were it not for the uncharacteristically tongue-in-cheek title, I’d be inclined to agree. But the basic idea is that it’s too far out, too unproven, and even more fragmentation for Linux and the “typical” web user experience, and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
