I nearly split my sides laughing when I read about this the first time. I eventually found, to my utter amazement, that they were serious, tracked down this page, and double-checked the URL. And then I realized that this is one of the defining differences between Nokia and other manufacturers (that shall remain nameless) - they over-engineer everything and pile on the features in their phones without checking if a) people actually want it or b) there is a simpler, cheaper, and better way.
