I’m sure this will be all over the news for weeks to come, just as I’m equally sure that Tim Cook, Phil Schiller and everyone else at their level are perfectly capable of not merely keeping things running smoothly (expecting just that from them would be doing them a disservice), but also deliver a few surprises along the way. Like I pointed out, they don’t hold high positions at Apple by accident - they’re there because they know what they’re doing, regardless of what the (ever paranoid and insecure) markets think. Nevertheless, I’m now battening down the hatches and preparing to withstand the oncoming barrage of bad reporting and speculation about Steve. I suggest you prepare to take your Apple news with a pinch of salt for the next few days at the very least.
